Our highly experienced tuners have a huge wealth of knowledge and experience, and are happy to answer any questions you may have about ongoing care and maintenance of your piano.

All our new pianos sales include a tuning service as well as professional voicing. This involves decompressing the hammerfelt by hand so that each hammer produces a rounder sound as it hits the string.

We take a lot of care and pride in all our tuning and voicing work.

Our tuning service:

Standard Tuning

Standard tuning involves careful adjustment of the tension on each piano string to produce an ideal pitch. Regular tuning matters even if you haven’t played your piano much, because the wood expands and contracts with normal changes in temperature and humidity. If your piano has not been tuned for a long time, two sessions of tuning may be required to get it performing at its peak again.
